Barlaston Golf Club run a number of popular Open Competitions throughout the year, early booking is advisable.

Wed 5 Jun - Seniors Open
- Wednesday 5th June 2024: 8:30am – 3:00pm.
- Individual stableford – 3 divisions with 5 prizes for each one.
- Entrance fee: £17.50 per player (BGC members £12.50).
- Includes complimentary coffee on arrival and 2’s sweep.
- Catering available on the day.
- All entrants must be over 55 years of age.

Wed 14 Aug - Seniors Pairs Open
- Wednesday 14th August 2024: 8:30am – 3pm.
- Betterball stableford.
- Entrance fee: £35.00 per pair (BGC members £30.00).
- Includes complimentary coffee & bacon bap on arrival and 2’s sweep.
- Catering available on the day.
- All entrants must be over 55 years of age.
- Prizes for best visiting players.

- Wednesday 24th July 2024: 10am – 3pm.
- Texas scramble – team of 3 Ladies.
- Entrance fee: £15 per visitor. £10 per BGC member.
- Only one Barlaston Club member allowed per team.
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
- Current competition handicap required – max 36.
