I joined Barlaston Golf Club in 2004 and I am very proud to represent The Club as Lady Captain in 2025. Having been a member for over 20 years I have seen many changes, all for the better. The club continues to improve year on year, going strength to strength both on and off the course, all of which attributable to the hard work invested by our greens staff, hospitality staff and management committee.
The Ladies Section is a relatively small group of friendly, helpful ladies of all ages and ability who enjoy social and competitive golf on both Tuesdays and Sundays and I am looking forward to spending an enjoyable year playing and supporting our section
Over the years I have owned a number of dogs, all from rescue charities. Sadly I recently lost my two dogs from old age which we had from Animal Lifeline on the Leek Rd, near Cellerhead, therefore my Lady Captain’s Charity for 2025 will be this dog rescue home. I am extremely grateful and proud of Barlaston GC and its members for their support and generosity who continue to support various charity events that take place throughout the year.
I would like to wish my fellow officials a very successful year and look forward to working productively alongside them in our combined efforts to move the Club even further forward.
I wish all our ladies a very successful, but, more importantly, enjoyable year of golf on our wonderful, interesting and at times testing course and also look forward to many hours of convivial social interaction at our numerous off course events.
Enjoy your golf and best wishes for the 2025 season.
