Barlaston Golf Club run a number of popular Open Competitions throughout the year, early booking is advisable.

Wed 5 Jun - Seniors Open
- Wednesday 5th June 2024: 8:30am – 3:00pm.
- Individual stableford – 3 divisions with 5 prizes for each one.
- Entrance fee: £17.50 per player (BGC members £12.50).
- Includes complimentary coffee on arrival and 2’s sweep.
- Catering available on the day.
- All entrants must be over 55 years of age.

Wed 14 Aug - Seniors Pairs Open
- Wednesday 14th August 2024: 8:30am – 3pm.
- Betterball stableford.
- Entrance fee: £35.00 per pair (BGC members £30.00).
- Includes complimentary coffee & bacon bap on arrival and 2’s sweep.
- Catering available on the day.
- All entrants must be over 55 years of age.
- Prizes for best visiting players.

The result of this year’s Open is as follows: –
1^st Place with a score of 60.1.

Each receives a £60.00 Shop 4All Voucher.

2^nd Place with a score of 60.4.
Desley Smith, Lynne Wooley, Rachel Smith. – Branston Golf & Country Club.
Each receives a £40.00 Shop 4All Voucher.

3^rd Place with a score of 60.5.
Stella Smith, Catherine Neill, Anna Foster. Denstone Golf Club.
Each receives a £25.00 Shop 4All Voucher.
